Dr. Mike Ellis, DO, Bio

Dr. Michael Ellis, DO, is clinically trained and licensed in internal medicine. He studied at Penn State and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He went on to earn his medical degree at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Mike completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Michael's Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey 2018.

Dr. Mike went on to work as a hospitalist at multiple hospitals, including Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey, as well as Monument Health and Sanford Health Systems in South Dakota. Dr. Mike focused on wellness and aesthetics after working as a front-line medical provider during the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

After seeing how chronic medical problems impacted the lives of so many during the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dr. Mike now focuses much of his practice on wellness and preventive therapies. He spends time educating his patients on the importance of health optimization. He aims to help improve his patient's quality of life through hormone optimization and other wellness therapies.
